Former winner Hewitt in action in doubles tournament

Hewitt won the title in the singles tournament on the grass court at the Autotron in 2001. That same year he also won his first Grand Slam title when he defeated Pete Sampras in the final of the US Open. Two months later Hewitt became the youngest ever number one of the world. The passionate baseliner won the title in Wimbledon in 2002.
The current Davis Cup captain of Australia played his last singles match in 2016 during the Grand Slam of Melbourne.
