Van de Zandschulp receives wildcard; Den Ouden in qualifiers

Botic van de Zandschulp has been added to the strong field of participants with a wildcard. Guy den Ouden will be in action in the qualifying tournament, which starts on Saturday 7 June.

The 29-year-old Van de Zandschulp is known as a giant killer. In the past nine months, his wins have included Carlos Alcaraz (US Open), Rafael Nadal (Davis Cup) and Novak Djokovic (Indian Wells).

His highest position in the world rankings is the 22nd spot. Van de Zandschulp will be in action on the Brabant grass for the third time.

Defending champion Alex de Minaur leads the field, which includes Daniil Medvedev, Arthur Fils, Ugo Humbert, Sebastian Korda and Karen Khachanov. Tallon Griekspoor (winner in 2023) is the other Dutchman straight into the main tournament.

Guy den Ouden received a wildcard for the qualifying tournament. The 23-year-old player is advancing in the rankings. His current 187th position is his personal best ranking. Last week, he made his debut in the qualifiers for Roland Garros.
