Mertens and Kudermetova form top duo in women’s doubles

Elise Mertens, together with Veronika Kudermetova, form the first-seeded pair in women’s doubles. Mertens won the title in 2018 alongside Demi Schuurs. This year, she has the world number eight as her doubles partner.

Bibiane Schoofs was the best with Ingrid Neel last year. Her title defence faces the Dutch with Anastasia Detiuc from the Czech Republic.

Singles winner Liudmila Samsonova will play in the doubles with American Nicole Melichar-Martinez.
